1. What are the requirements to enroll?
Child must live in East Baton Rouge Parish School District.*
Child must have a DSM-V diagnosis of autism from a qualified specialist (Neurologist, Psychologist, Psychiatrist, or Developmental Pediatrician).
Child must have a current IEP from a parish in Louisiana.
2. What do I need to do to apply for my child?

Complete the pre-enrollment form.
Submit current IEP, DSM-V medical diagnosis of autism and any additional relevant documentation
Submit Authorization to Release Information between Emerge and
Parish which current IEP was completed
3. What ages/grade levels are you enrolling?
In the fall of 2019 we will enroll Kindergarten students.
4. Must my child have autism to enroll?
Yes, all students must have a DSM-V diagnosis of autism from a medical professional.
5. What is the enrollment process?

Parents/Guardians complete a pre-enrollment form.
Parents/Guardians submit documents verifying qualification (see #2).
If there are more applicants than seats, we will hold a lottery.
