The Emerge School for Autism is the first only and public charter school in Louisiana, and one of only a handful nationwide, exclusively for children with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) diagnosis.  Using a “wrap-around” model of care, students receive Speech, Occupational, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Special Education services all within the same building. 

The Emerge School for Autism’s goal is to transform the lives of children with autism through innovative educational experiences focused on communication, social and behavioral goals.  The school’s evidence-based curriculum helps to close learning gaps and prepares children to lead independent, successful lives. 

While The Emerge School qualifies for educational funding, donor support helps the school build a robust learning environment that combines state-of-the-art classroom technology with unique supplementary resources such as music therapy and enriching art experiences.

The Emerge School for Autism is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
